I recommend Ebony Lyons-Edmond and her team highly.  Her company is aptly named “Beyond Expectations”. My father started to have increased care needs at the age of 97. He had been independent living with my mother but after a fall, he needed much more skilled care. Ultimately, he needed memory care. He was a bit of a handful and the family decided that 24/7 care was best. The stars aligned just right when Ebony Lyons-Edmond was recommended to us. Ebony and the team that she has organized took care of my father for over one year. He could be challenging and didn’t like the decline in his memory and physical abilities. Ebony and her crew worked with him and cajoled with him and supported him…so very well. They became like family. The staff of Bayou Manor and Hospice were very helpful too. Even so, Ebony was our eyes and ears for all his care needs. Ebony is smart and knowledgeable. She worked well with memory care staff. She and crew were compassionate and caring (shout out to her staff!). My family is indebted to her and her organization. She made a challenging situation so much better for the family. She helped support my mother as well as mother saw her husband of more than 60 years decline. My father passed earlier this year. He is missed…I also miss talking with Ebony and her entire team. Ebony is now looking in on my mother when needed. I am in healthcare and am used to seeing older people age and evolve. Having committed caretaker professionals is so important—Ebony has that commitment.
